Zoë Scholtz

I write about getting back up, finishing what you start and making the numbers make sense.

Portrait of Zoë Scholtz, smiling, in a turquoise paisley top, sitting in a garden.

Hello, I'm Zoë.

I'm a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) who learned to love running, writing and photography the hard way. I have worked in forensic and risk advisory, and as a chief financial officer.

I have run an ultramarathon, written books and taken far too many photographs. My stories start small: a third lamp post, a pot of jam, a camera I couldn't work. They end up in the same place. Do the next small thing, and keep going.
